Brighton Pearl

Brighton Pearl

I wrote the pattern for Unwind Brighton 2014.  As a vendor, I didn't have the time to enter the Unwind Pattern Competition but I still wanted to to write a pattern to remind me of what became an amazing event.

Brighton Pearl is a beaded, semi-circular (slightly crescent shaped) shawl, knitted top down.

Organically placed increases and a softly 'waving' lace pattern with beads (optional) all makes for a very feminine harmonious shawl.

Both written and charted directions are provided for the lace.

Washed and blocked it measures approx. 155 cm long and 62 cm deep.

The Knitting Swede's CHARISMA (55% Superwashed BFL / 45% Silk; 400m per 100gr skein)
Approx. 610m of main colour and 240m of contrasting colour

21 sts / 31 rows = 10cm in Stockinette Stitch

Suggested Needle Size
4mm circular ndls, 100cm long

The sample is knit in Mauve Over Honey and Silver
